Telehealth allows patients to speak with a healthcare provider remotely when an in-person exam is not required. It can be a helpful option for busy adults, follow-up visits, medication questions, lab result discussions, and certain non-emergency symptoms.
AIT Health is based on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and provides telehealth visits for eligible patients in New York. Our office will help determine whether telehealth is appropriate for your concern or whether an in-person appointment is recommended.

Telehealth is convenient, but it does not replace the value of a physical examination when one is needed. Many patients use both: telehealth for appropriate follow-ups and in-person visits for annual physical exams, new symptoms, testing, procedures, and hands-on evaluations.
For preventive care, annual physical exams, EKGs, injections, certain screenings, and diagnostic testing, an in-person appointment at our Upper East Side office may be recommended.
